CFS Announces Restructuring of Strategy Team to Drive Client Success and Organizational Growth

Washington, DC — Capitol Funding Solutions (CFS) today announced the restructuring of its Strategy Team, formalizing and expanding the team to enhance its business growth strategy and deliver more comprehensive funding expertise. This strategic realignment strengthens CFS’s ability to anticipate changes in the rapidly changing competitive funding landscape and provide clients with the guidance they need to succeed. 

As part of this restructuring, Matthew LaBorde, now serving as Chief Strategy Officer, will direct the Strategy Team’s efforts to strengthen client outcomes and funding strategies, while steering CFS toward continued organizational growth. John Nictakis has been elevated to Senior Funding Analyst, strengthening the team’s capacity to deliver high-quality insights into the competitive funding landscape and identify opportunities best suited for clients' initiatives. Samantha Strauss has been promoted to Senior Policy Analyst, focusing on tracking and interpreting the policies that influence federal funding decisions, informing clients with the knowledge they need to strengthen their applications and stay competitive. In addition, Samantha Benthien, Director of Strategic Communications, will join the team, aligning communications, client engagement, and strategic planning to provide essential resources to clients while positioning CFS to explore new business opportunities.
